2025 MOCK Class: 5.0

November 1, 2024

Miami’s 2025 recruiting class now holds 22 verbal commitments, ranking the #11 in the nation. The class is forming nicely for a big run to the finish line next month.

We continue our monthly Mock Class series. The CaneReports will publish mock class projections all the way to December. While there will be changes along the way, we feel our mock classes will give a very good glimpse of what the class will look like on early signing day in December.

Let’s take our fifth swing (or SWAG) at the 2025 Miami recruiting class.

Luke Nickel (committed - shutdown)

Running Back:

Girard Pringle Jr. (committed)

Ben Hanks* (Florida commit)

Safety:

Bryce Fitzgerald (committed)

BOTTOM LINE:

Our projected mock class would have 28 new recruits with a class score of 277.19. In 2024, this score would have ranked #8. In 2023, this score would have ranked #10. In 2022, this score would have ranked #7. In 2021, this score would have ranked #9. The above class would have 21 blue chip recruits, with a class extremely high ratio of 75 percent.

It’s unlikely Miami signs all of the above prospects. However, it gives us a clear picture of the ceiling for the class.

It will be exciting to watch the Canes’ run for a third consecutive top ten finish. It likely depends on Miami’s continued field performance over the remaining four regular season games.

GO CANES!
