The ACC announced their post season awards on Wednesday. Miami quarterback Cam Ward was named ACC Player of the Year & Offensive Player of the Year.
Ward led Miami to a 10-2 record, the best since 2017. He passed for 4,123 yards, 36 touchdowns, 67.4% completion rate, averaging 9.5 per completed pass, with only 7 interceptions. Cam finished with a 171.1 rating, second in the country. In the process, Cam set muliple single season passing records.
Ward is considered a serious Heisman Trophy candidate.
