The ACC announced their weekly player award on Monday. The University of Miami senior Cam Ward received ACC Quarterback of the Week honors for his outstanding game against California this past weekend. It was Ward’s fourth such honor this season.
Ward threw for a season-best 437 yards, two touchdowns, while also running for a 24-yard score in leading the Canes to a 25-point comeback victory. Ward led the Canes to its second-largest come-from-behind win in program history.
For the season, Ward has thrown for 2,219 yards and 20 touchdowns, with a 69.2% completion rate.
After a bye this week, Miami will travel to Louisville to take on the Cardinals on Saturday, October 19th. Kickoff is set for 12:00 p.m. ET, with coverage on ABC-TV and WQAM-560.
