Miami falls, 78-68, to Boston College (9-5, 1-2 ACC) on Wednesday night in Bill Courtney’s debut as interim head coach.
Miami (4-9, 0-2 ACC) jumped out to an 8-0 lead and took a 12-point lead, 41-29, into halftime. Then the Canes went stone cold shooting in the second half, shooting just 28.6 percent (10 of 35) from the floor. The Eagles outscored the Canes 47-27 in the second half.
For the game, Miami shot 39.7 percent (27 of 68) from the floor, 21.7 percent (5 of 23) from beyond the arc.
SF Matthew Cleveland led the Canes with 21 points and Lynn Kidd added 14 points.
