Miami’s success on the field this season is having a positive impact on the recruiting trail.
The Canes currently have 22 verbal commitments to their 2025 recruiting class that is ranked #12 in the nation.
But they are not finished yet.
Miami is positioned for a very strong finish in December. Here are 17 reported targets, including 12 flips, the Canes are pushing for this fall.
Five-star defensive lineman Elijah Griffin
Five-star receiver Dallas Wilson (Oregon commit)
Five-star cornerback DJ Pickett (LSU commit)
Five-star receiver Jaime Ffrench (Texas commit)
Five-star receiver Vernell Brown III (Florida commit)
Five-star receiver Derek Meadows (LSU commit)
Five-star DL Justus Terry
Four-star cornerback Ben Hanks Jr. (Florida commit)
Four-star IOL Michael Carroll (Alabama commit)
Four-star receiver Joshua Moore (Florida commit)
Four-star DL Isaiah Campbell
Four-star LB Kellen Wiley
Four-star receiver Tyler Williams (Georgia commit)
Four-star DL Jarquez Carter (Ohio State commit)
Three-star DL Derry Norris (Georgia Tech commit)
Three-star DL Floyd Boucard
Three-star DL Randy Adirika (Penn State commit)
Miami's remaining needs include wide receiver and defensive line, thus the heavy emphasis on the above position targets.
While Miami is hot right now, it isn’t realistic to assume all the above targets will sign with the Canes. However, it’s fair to assume Miami is doing their best to give them something to think about.
GO CANES!
