The losing streak has ended! Miami ended a seven-game losing streak on Sunday, beating Presbyterian, 94-75.
In the process, Miami broke a school record. The Canes shot a record 67.3% (35-52) from the floor. The old record was made in 2005. Over a 16-minute stretch, Miami made 17 consecutive shots.
Miami had three players with 20 or more points. Matthew Cleveland led the Canes with 24 points. Brandon Johnson banged in 22 and Lynn Kidd turned in a double-double, with 20 points and 11 rebounds.
Miami will host Mount St. Mary on Saturday, December 21st at the Watsco Center. Tip-off is set for 2:00 p.m. ET with coverage on ESPN+.
