Miami is looking to add a quarterback from the Transfer Pool. The Canes may be locking onto Washington State’ s John Mateer.
The only problem is he’s not in the portal, yet. However, all is not lost. Our sources say Mateer wants to play in the Cougar’s bowl game on December 27 at the Holiday Bowl in San Diego.
If so, Mateer could still enter the portal. The winter portal window closes the next day, December 28th.
If Miami is patient, they could get their man at the finish line.
