With the news of wide receiver Isaiah Horton’s portal departure on Monday, Miami must pivot to replace four of their 2024 productive and experienced wide receivers.
The good news is Miami has some very talented but inexperienced receivers on their roster already. But do they have enough to replace the production of 2024?
From reports, Miami has serious interest in six portal wide receivers.

Eric Singleton Jr. (Georgia Tech)
At 5’-11”/190, Eric is reportedly at the top of Miami’s board at this time. He has a portal rating of 95 and is considered the best current receiver in the portal. Eric just came off a visit to Coral Gables so interest is mutual.
Competition… Ole Miss, Georgia, Auburn
CJ Daniels (LSU)
At 6’-2”/205, CJ is a coveted big body receiver. He has a portal rating of 90. He has almost 2,500 receiving yards with 21 touchdowns. Miami recruited him hard out of high school. CJ just came off a visit to Coral Gables so interest is mutual.

KC Concepcion (NC State)
At 5’-11/189, KC is well known to Miami as a ACC competitor. He has a portal rating of 93 and is considered a slot receiver. Over the last two seasons, KC caught a total of 124 passes for 1,299 yards and 16 touchdowns. He has two years of eligibility remaining. KC hasn’t visited Miami, so keep an eye for him on campus.

De'Zhaun Stribling (OK State)
At 6’-2”/202, DeZhaun is one of the most productive receivers in the country with 2,153 receiving yards and 17 touchdowns on 161 career receptions. He has a portal rating of 90. DeZhaun is scheduled to visit Coral Gables on Tuesday, so interest is mutual.

Eric Rivers (FIU)
At 5’-11”/174, Eric is a dynamic record setting slot receiver. He has a portal rating of 91. Over the last two seasons, Eric has caught 94 passes for 1,542 yards and 14 touchdowns. He has visited Miami recently, so interest is mutual.
Competition…Kentucky, Penn State, Colorado, Nebraska
Caleb Odom (Alabama)
At 6’-5”/227, Caleb played as a wide receiver for the Tide as a true freshman in 2024. He has a portal rating of 91. However, Miami is recruiting Caleb as a tight end this portal cycle. He is very athletic with natural ball skills and playing speed.Caleb is scheduled to visit Coral Gables this coming weekend.

BOTTOM LINE:
Miami must re-load at wide receiver with experienced veterans. Look for Miami to take up to 3 wide receivers from the portal this winter.
