WELCOME to the U, Ernest Udeh, Jr. !

Miami Head coach Jai Lucas welcomed his third transfer commitment, Ernest Udeh, Jr, on Friday.

At 6’-11”/260, the former TCU Horned Frog was a McDonalds All-American coming out of high school. He ranked as the seventh best center and the 32nd best overall prospect in the 2022 recruiting class.

The Orlando native has started 59 games over the last two seasons at TCU. He averaged 6.6 points, 7.5 rebounds, 1.3 blocked shots and 1.4 steals per game in 2024-25. As a result, he earned All-Big-12 Honorable Mention. Ernest is a major defensive presence in the paint.

Ernest joins former Michigan point guard Trey Donaldson and former Indiana power forward Malik Reneau on the new look Miami Hurricanes.
