Head coach Jai Lucas has his job cut out in his rebuild of the Miami program. He must replace 12-13 players from last season's roster. Lucas has not let the grass grow under his feet, quickly establishing contact and building relationships with the potential next generation of Miami players.

The native Floridian backed off his commitment after the dismissal of head coach Kyle Neptune. Dante is rated as the sixth-best combo guard and #42 overall player in the 2025 class.
